  1. I mean the grafter was such a paragon of testicular fortitude that he needed to carry a gun everywhere he went.

  2. MDH says:

Live is hard for many of us and this tune always seems to take the blues away.

I go to bed but sleep won’t come
    Get up in the night
    I couldn’t fight my feelings
    Early in the morning
    It’s just the same situation
Here comes the landlord just a knocking upon my door
I’ve got four hundred/month rent to pay
    And I can’t find a job
Let me tell you time tough
Everything is out of sight, it’s so hard
    Time tough
Everything is growing higher and higher
    Sister lee cannot bear it
And brother Lincoln only stand it now
They’re crying night and day, louder and louder
Nobody to help them make their way
I’ve got four hundred/month rent to pay
    And I can’t find a dollar
Let me tell you time tough
Everything is out of sight, it’s so hard
    Time hard
Everything is growing higher and higher
Good times once lead into bad times
But now the bad times take over
When I was a little boy
I just keep on feeling it, feeling it, feeling it, feeling it
    Now listen
    Time tough
Everything is out of sight, it’s so hard
    Time tough
Everything is growing higher and higher
    Can’t blame the minister
And you can’t blame the preacher
And you can’t blame your brother
And you cannot blame your sister
    Can’t blame your friends
    ‘Cause today is judgement day
And that’s why everyone have to pray
Let me tell you time tough
Everything is out of sight, it’s so hard
    Time tough
Everything is growing higher and higher

Sorry if this has been posted. How dare ebay let fogen auction of his stolen crap, but this artists thought provoking painting was pulled. My ebay days are over.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to everyone.

Yes, the truly original work with the two hoodies make a powerful statement about what the USA really is.

The other “original” with the smiling grafter makes a mockery of the USA in the eyes of the rest of the world.

I mean the grafter was such a paragon of testicular fortitude that he needed to carry a gun everywhere he went.

Somehow, I fail to see how associating George Zimmerman with flag, god and country honors true heroes such as Desmond Doss.

      So F E-bay.

  4. Here’s my favorite performance of the Hallelujah Chorus.

From Andre Rieu’s “Live From Radio City Music Hall” in New York City 2004, with the Johann Strauss Orchestra and the Harlem Gospel Choir.

  12. Lyn says:

Happy Holidays. There is a disconnect between the birth of Christ and consumption today in America. Please remember charitable donations to the poor and needy.

  13. MDH says:

Let’s drink to the hard working people
Let’s drink to the lowly of birth
Raise your glass to the good and the evil
Let’s drink to the salt of the earth

Say a prayer for the common foot soldier
Spare a thought for his back breaking work
Say a prayer for his wife and his children
Who burn the fires and who still till the earth

And when I search a faceless crowd
A swirling mass of gray and black and white
They don’t look real to me
In fact, they look so strange

Raise your glass to the hard working people
Let’s drink to the uncounted heads
Let’s think of the wavering millions
Who need leading but get gamblers instead

Spare a thought for the stay-at-home voter
His empty eyes gaze at strange beauty shows
And a parade of the gray suited grafters
A choice of cancer or polio

And when I look in the faceless crowd
A swirling mass of grays and black and white
They don’t look real to me
Or don’t they look so strange

Let’s drink to the hard working people
Let’s think of the lowly of birth
Spare a thought for the rag taggy people
Let’s drink to the salt of the earth

Let’s drink to the hard working people
Let’s drink to the salt of the earth
Let’s drink to the two thousand million
Let’s think of the humble of birth
