Good afternoon to all of our friends.

I am posting an open thread because I have been distracted by developments in Egypt, Syria, Japan and the United States.

What’s on your mind?

“Flaunt”– that is what the killer of Trayvon is doing, flaunting hissuccessful kill with the photos of him shaking hands with the gun facility personel.

Right bin the victim’s family’s face. Fits his bully personality.

video on clickorlando with the phhoto showing the huge grin on the gun buyer’s face

Flaut and Flant, he’s done them both in this killing case.

    • Xena says:

@ay2z. That photo is photoshopped. The face/head is too large for the body and is a different color than the neck and hands.

This victim will be treated like a victim.

This echoes a comment I made in this thread that never made it through The Internets:

  4. Drew says:

    Anyone following the Elkins case?

  5. MedicineBear says:

Here’s a piece from Buzzfeed about the dreaded evil database identifying gun owners. Oops! The database was not created by big bad big brother govmint . . . it’s the NRA!!!

“How The NRA Built A Massive Secret Database Of Gun Owners”

Let’s see if the GOTPers take to the streets in outrage!

    • aussie says:

Someone should hack it and PUBLISH IT. If you can check a sex offender register to know there’s a rapist in your street, you should be able to check what gun owners there are, especially CCW ones. Chances of getting shot are higher than getting raped, it seems. And harder to recover from.

People are comparing the killing of the Oklahoma man to Trayvon Martin….what sick racists we have in this world

    • gblock says:

What they have in common is a shooter with a broken moral compass and impulse control problems who had no business carrying a gun around.

I have two questions about this killing:

Why did they have a gun with them, and how were they able to have it? Since they were all minors, wouldn’t that have been illegal in itself?

From what I have read, the 17-year-old was driving and the 16 year old committed the shooting. The two younger boys were charged with murder, the 17 year old with a lesser crime. Why was the 15 year old charged with murder when he apparently didn’t actually do anything?

      • colin black says:

        Its called acting in concert.

You don’t have to pull the trigger to be charged with murder.

Even being in the presence of a shooter is enough to face murder one.

Even if you had no fore knowlage he had a gun was about to use the gun it doesn’t matter.

That’s why America has over 12 thousand juveniles seveing life without parole.

Only about 3 thousand were actuall shooters or stabbers or blugening with base ball batters.

The other eight thousand just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong person.

    • Two sides to a story says:

Fogen has more in common with the boys in OK than Trayvon.

    • ay2z says:

Was that a visiting Aussie man who killed?

  7. MichelleO says:

WHAT’S on my mind is the fact that young people can be so bored and callous, that they can follow and shot a stranger on the street dead. Young people in America think nothing of throwing away their lives and the lives of others. I’m so sick of these tragedies.

  8. Good evening, everyone. There’s a lot going on in so many places, but the Phoenix, AZ incident has been on my mind today. Police were called to help get an unarmed man off of a roof, but they tased/Tasered him, placed him in a choke hold, then drug him face down on some steps and he died. His dad is a former police detective. Here’s the video.

    • Xena says:

It hurts. It hurts when people are put in bondage and brutalized. It appears that some cops only want to be obeyed without consideration of resolving situations without THEM committing violence.

Heard a story some years ago about the cops stopping a man in a WalMart parking lot who was walking “strangely.” He would not answer their questions, neither obey their demands. Police assumed he was drunk. They took him to the ground, handcuffed him, and not being able to get him to obey to get into the police car, dragged him on the sidewalk while calling him vulgar names. After arriving to the police station they noticed the shape of his face had changed. Turns out the man walking “strangely” was having a stroke.

I just blogged on Ethan Saylor, a 26 yr. old with Down syndrome who police heaped on, suffocating him. His death was ruled a homicide by the coroner.

The following video was just after Ethan was killed.

  9. Endless Summer says:

So it turns out Florida is not the only state with godawful judges:

The rapist, who pled guilty, received no jail time, and the judge ordered him to family court to seek parental rights. Yes, ordered by the judge, which will force this child who was his victim (now 16 yrs old) to have an ongoing relationship with her rapist. Who is free, and not in jail.

    • Woow! says:

Woow, unfreaking believeable. Criminals have more rights than law abiding citizens. This poor child decided to keep a child conceived by rape which is commendable and mentally challenging just to have a judge say her rapist can interject himself into her life for 18 (16) years.

    • aussie says:

He wasn’t a stranger to her. He pleaded guilty to statutory rape and it’s claimed they had an ongoing relationship. So it’s not like a rapist who attacked a stranger in a dark alley. There’s more to this story than meets the eye; apparently the girl instituted proceedings for child support.

Crisis in Japan ongoing since Tusunami just because it left the front pages an then became silent.

Its not because the situation is getting better an under control.

    Opposite .

So its not reported to avoid panic.

Untill mass panic is beneficial to the Elite P T B

Then it will be reported covering some other malignant scheme they have happening else where .

Smoke an mirrors art of illusion is distraction.

When the masses are looking thatway.

They are doing something atrousious underhand in the other direction.

California Prisons Force-Feeding Hunger Strike Inmates for protesting solitary confinement conditions.

    • colin black says:

The super max isolation prisons in America are beyond inhumane cruell an unusall punishment in a box.

You are burying a person alive in a concrete tomb .

America is breaking the human rights law constantly

Unless a person is diagnosed as mentaly insane .

You cant force feed them an as none of thease men where of unsound mind the force feeding of them is unlawfull.

In the UK we let I6 I R A Prisoners Die in a Hunger Strike Process

They were not deemed insane .

We have kept child murderer Ian Brady alive for the last twenty years by force feeding him as he is insane.

  12. colin black says:

    Whats on my mind .

How amazeing an unserated sensation boredom is.

I love lazy days were nothing to do no where to be an nothing pressing or taxing on your mins.

People whom spit out the phrase Im bored .

Have never been suffering starvation cant be bored then as all you can think of is your hunger an thirst an imment though drawn out lingering death.

Soldiers on the frontline dureing ww one going over the top into enemy machine gun fire would have given there right arms to be bored.

Many did when you are under attack or duress for whatever reason you vannot stop thinking about .

An would long not to have to think about your predicament or experience the fear an boredom would be your ideas of bliss.

If your bored you should thank your lucky stars.

Not many bored people in Egypt or Syria an Japan tonight.

The situation with Japan’s Fukushima nuke plant

    • looneydoone says:

      That link isn’t working

    • Two sides to a story says:

Alarming and no one mentions it much but online sources.

      • looneydoone says:

Mainstream corporate news in ‘merica has imposed a virtual blackout on the crisis that is Fukushima. Conditions have deteriorated from catastrophic to unimaginable horror.
1,100 + fuel rods must be manually removed
core(s) burnt thru containment vessels into the ground and leaking radiation into the fresh water aquifer and ocean.
danger of liquification and slippage due to the massive amount of water used the past two years to cool the reactors
The radioactive plume has contaminated much of the western hemisphere above the equator, via jetstream AND oceanic currents

They don’t know what the fuck they’re doing. There is no “plan” that anticipated this type of failure. This crisis is being ignored because it’s implications are too horrific for public consumption (in the opinion of authorities)
