If the jury comes back and has a verdict tomorrow then we will know that this was rushed and they are ready to get home. There is no way that someone could go through all this evidence that fast. I don’t believe they will find him guilty of 2nd degree because I think a couple of them will be scared to death to do that but manslaughter most definitely should be the charge. Do not acquit this man, This child’s life was taken for no reason at all.

    • ic2fools says:

hi riisey007, i agree with you to only slightly disagree.

If the jury come back today with a verdict, I feel it they have done a good job.

It does not take much to figure out. BUT FOR fogen getting out a truck he had followed Trayvon who he was afraid is unreasonable thinking.

fogen had several options other than getting out of that truck

      1. stay in that truck and GOOGLE THE DAMN ADDRESS

      2. stay in the truck with NEN or made another call to Tim Smith, Osterboi or even john goode.

      3. fogen could have drove around the corner quicker than he could have walked to get an address.

      4. best yet, he just should have gone to the mailboxes in that truck and wait for the police, there were there within 3 minutes.

With that said, it is his fault and his fault alone putting himself and Trayvon in a tragic situtaion. Not Trayvons.

Now knowing that fogen could not have pulled that gun from laying on his back meant, he had the gun already out of holster in hand and the flashlight on while walking. Without a reason to with the other options.

I say all the jury needs to do now is decide on which verdict to apply.

Jury verdict is going to be Manslaughter with a gun And will be before Monday.

If not I will own up to my err of opinion.

    • Two sides to a story says:

Thanks once again! Sometimes when I get up a little late here on the left coast, I turn on MSNBC while my laptop boots up. I was so immersed in the proceedings that I never did turn the computer on. But for some reason, because of the way MSNBC went to talking heads, I thought that JN called for a lunch recess after OM closing, not a short one, and I ran to take a shower and missed the first third or half of John Guy.’s closing. So I’m grateful to have your recording to watch. Wow, Guy’s hot self definitely had some strong movie moments in his Kevin Costner voice . . .

  2. ay2z says:

5 ‘ 11 ” minus 5’ 7 ” = 4 inches! Look at the difference in view for the jury as the close up or defense table wide angles from the corner cameras.

It appears as if small short figure with a much taller than 4 inches, gigure behind him. Appears more like double at least, inches– looks lime closer to 9 or more inches to me, as the figures are posed against the wall.

  3. BB says:

as soon as JN said you must decide if evidence is reliable GZ started blinking rapidly and Shell looked like she shit her pants.

  4. colin black says:

13th tomorrow I mean I scream for joy an to annowy nah.

  5. BB says:

Shellie is now realizing that playing stoopid with Georgie is not a great way to go through life.

    • ay2z says:

update for the Shellie perjury case:

Looks like a continuence to August, but there is yet another motion to continue added.

  6. ay2z says:

The image for jurors, his lawyer’s closing about the cardboard, with the 2 D outlights behind him, in view of the jurors.

A direct comparison that will stick– brilliant! Hope the state asks that the distractions be removed.

  7. colin black says:

still hopefull 50 50 for a guilty sat 12 tomorrow.

  8. smokeegyrl says:

Fogens part is crooked in his head just like him.

  9. Susan Moore says:

I think the state did a good job and I hope for the right verdict. But, if he is acquitted, I will never forgive the state for failing to point out that the injuries on GZ’s face match the effect of the gun’s recoil. The jury is left to believe that TM punched GZ. It’s inexcusable to me.

  10. smokeegyrl says:

No,seriously does West get get speak? or was Guy it…

  11. MedicineBear says:

West is wearing his “I BE STUPID” lucky ice cream tie today.

    • ay2z says:

He has been taxed by this case, not his legal expertise and experience, but his ability to handle the stress, satying (and I have the order correct) “it is not fair to me, not fair to [ }, not fair to my client”

It should not matter first, about fairness to a client, because if it is not fair to a lawyer and that causes unfairness to a client, seems the client is the one who comes first. Period.

(from his late night 4 minutes to 10 pm rant in which MOM told him to be ‘quiet’ more than once)

  12. MedicineBear says:

    I had a dream today:

The ethereal spirit of Trayvon is sitting in the witness stand.

The judge asks Trayvon: “Can you identify the person who murdered you?”

    “Yes,” says Trayvon softly.

All eyes turn to the Defense table . . .

Where George Zimmerman is already standing.

  13. smokeegyrl says:

    hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    • ay2z says:

LOL!! Tge carucaturist was being kind.

Not to make fun of anyone’s looks, but today, as cameras switched to the d lawyers, West had a blank empty stare, not a ‘thinking/listening stare, but empty. He has aged since the beginning of trial.

      • smokeegyrl says:

        I did the doodle… hahahaha… btw… that is a cone… I call this the conehead doodle…

        • MedicineBear says:

It looks like the “Heisenburg” hat that the Walter White character wears in *Breaking Bad*! And I’ve been saying since I first saw West that he looks like Walter White on that show — have you seen the show? Funny you should doodle that hat on him.

Seriously, do we all have a mind meld going on at this site?

        • You all have thoughtful comments says:

          Love it, smokeegyrl!

      • ay2z says:

Might I suggest the pointy cone variety? I know it’s not what was in the ‘manger’ a trois dans l’auto photo.

BTW, where’d the soft serve go from inside the cone and did it cause much injury, broken noses and bruising, and bumps without brusing and such?

Dr. Rao should be called in to evaluate, and Bill Lee should be hired to investigate the attack.

      • MedicineBear says:

The empty eyes are a window to the empty soul.

  14. Dee says:

When he lies he take a sip of water, those lies are so nasty in his mouth.

    • MedicineBear says:

Needs LOTS of water to try to rinse out the nasty taste of BS. I hope he’s never able to wash that foul taste out of his mouth nor able to wash the blood off his hands.

  15. colin black says:

  16. smokeegyrl says:

    so what happens now?

  17. colin black says:

Emm new thread mayhaps or am I already talkin to meself?

  18. ay2z says:

Is it over? I had an interruption and lost audio at where MOM objected to John Guy’s description of reasonable doubt.

  19. willisnewton says:

What the heck is the defense arguing up at the bench? have they asked for a mistrial to be declared yet on a technicality or what?

Is this about filing more frivolous motions, or is this about the rulings the judge said she’s address post trial?

  20. colin black says:

That was it game set an match closed out with an ace

guy didn’t even need to tell the jury to find him guilty its that obvious.

    foggagge once again looked oblivious.

    for you foggagge

  21. Christopher Charles says:

I am not a mean spirited person, I try to see the good in everybody and I am willing to give everybody the benefit of the doubt, but I can do neither with fogen. He’s a liar; he murdered TM “because he wanted to.”

Lord, please forgive me for thinking and speaking this way, but I want fogen sentenced to prison for a very long time, and I want it to be hard time, very hard time-mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I hope O’Mara, West, and fogen’s lying, delusional family, friends, and supporters experience a complete unraveling of their lives. May they have no peace, no happiness, no joy. May they rue the day they ever became involved with lying fogen.

I’m most troubled by the willful lies and evil character assassination of TM, his parents, family, friends and supporters. This case points out just how scary and dangerous America is, not only for people of color, but for everyone.

Lord, please deliver us from all evil.

    • nocamo33 says:

It seems you are a “believer”, in that case I feel comfortable sharing with you that you have nothing to feel guilty about. As long as you are not consumed by hatred (though it is hard to look at Fogen and not feel some). Reason being is Jesus equated hatred with murder (1 John 3:15), so believers who have bound themselves to Christ must obey the “law” of the spirit, which includes forgiving and even loving a person as unlovable as the Forgotten One.

Regarding the just desserts coming Zimmerman’s way in just a few hours:
Roman’s 13:4 – “For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, [BE AFRAID], for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.” (though the words are not mine, the emphasis is!).

What I would really like to see is handcuffs on him upon the verdict. I think he has had enough freedom. He should be remanded to the jail until the sentencing.

  77. Sophia33 says:

No more smacking noises, yeah! That’s was driving me bonkers.
I liked the witness pictures, very good idea. That’s about all I can give him. Who here has sidewalks around their neighborhood that’s that thick? Mine cant be more than a inch or two, so that was just crazy. Now if there was a HUGE chuck found, and Trayvon had picked it up and used it, we wouldn’t be here watching fogen, we’d be here for Trayvon’s trial.

  89. uhoh says:

So we’ve gone from 15+ minutes of watching and stalking in the dark to the last 20 seconds?

  90. chi1224 says:

    • abbyj says:

Well said, Chi. “Two crypt keepers.” I’m watching the last of the delay on HLN right now and PapaZ is rubbing his eyes, staring off into space, sucking his teeth. Man. He looks bored out of his head.

  91. MichelleO says:

I feel like I am stoned. That man has fogged up my mind; made me groggy and sleepy. I have no more energy.

  92. Soulcatcher says:

No Mom, there is exuse on that chart that justafies fogens use of force. NONE. At the time he was shot, his head was not being smashed in the concrete. He did not have several hands to smother him, smash his head, and reach for the gun. Impossible. Fogen states he was incontrol, he had his hand in a wrist lock, he aimed, made sure his hand would not get hit, aimed and shot him right thru the heart.

NO he did not act in self defence. All the evidence proves he did not act in self defence. He lied, Why Mom? Why did your client refuse to take the stand, get in the box, swear to tell the the truth to all and God? The fact that he didn’t speaks a thousand words.

  93. Rachael says:

    That was lame.

  94. After he finished his closing argument and returned to the defense table, neither West nor the defendant said a word to O’Mara.

No trace of a smile either.

Gloom and doom at the table.

  95. ay2z says:

Just now found this!! Thanks SG2!!

He brought the circus to town. He was not ready, disorganized, inconsiderate, again with the whining and the blaming and the finger pointing. Kind of like a kid in class that did that overnight presentation. You can tell.

    • abbyj says:

You have him nailed, KateW. There’s always one in a class, and he was it: whining, blaming, fingerpointing, prissy. And everyone hated him.

  110. BB says:

Thank you jury for not SLEEPING, LOL Idiot.

  111. Marsha says:

O’mara has spent so much time trashing Trayvon to the public, he was totally unprepared to deal with the problems in his client’s multiple stories. He seems shocked that the prosecution has a strong case. Is it even possible that an attorney would accept what his client says at face value? He clearly didn’t expect BDLR to show what a liar GZ is yesterday.

    • bellesouth says:

I hope that bites back because the lack of respect for the victim was palpable.

    • nocamo33 says:

These people are oblivious. At the risk of coming off callous, racist and hate-filled. They pander to their racist base and actually believe that, due to their support, they somehow have an advantage. It is that bravado that has lead Fogen to this point where he has believe for so long that he can get away with this. It is also that attitude that will (prayerfully) lead to him receiving NO mercy from the court (because he showed no remorse or mercy or humility). He has been and will be prosecuted and judged to the fullest extent of the law. Praying for this jury. They do have a “tough” job (though really it’s pretty straightforward). I pray for their courage, knowledge and discernment.

  115. My Forehead Tho says:

  116. KateW says:

WOW When you go back there, what you might want to consider doing?? This is an example of talking at them and talking at them as if they are ignorant and stupid. They NEED TO BE TOLD what to do. Shame.

  117. My Forehead Tho says:

Evidently he won’t be finishing strong. He should have stopped an hour ago with the 4 minutes of silence.

  118. disappointed says:

If Trayvon were alive your client would be charged with kidnapping attempted rape, robbery and assaulting a minor. easier to claim self defense right!

  119. chi1224 says:

HE JUST CALLED FOGEN A VICTIM!! STFU YOU EVIL RAT FACE POS!!!!!!!!!!! Saying what would Trayvon Martin be charged with if he lived!!!! HE IS PURE EVIL SIT THE FUCK DOWN!!!!

    • nocamo33 says:

“Evil Rat Face” (tee hee), no way! Didn’t you here OM say he looks like Joel Osteen!

    • ay2z says:

He did? I have had the sound off lately. But my impression from this, is thhat the jury could find this interesting, and minimally useful, but in the end, this could work very well for the state, to demonstrate exactly Berni’s point of ‘not taking responsibility’ for his actions that night and continually since.

A ‘victim’ of his own false assumption based ‘ACTIONS’.

  120. willisnewton says:

MOM is profiling that chunk of ‘crete. “These manholes always get away. F**kin’ chunks.”

  121. Rachael says:

I THOUGHT YOU SAID NOT TO SPECULATE!!!! Why don’t you speculate that if he’d survived we would know (what we already know) about your client!!!

  122. nocamo33 says:

If the scratches on Zimmerman’s head are evidence of ill will and spite, what about a hollow point through the heart?

  123. KateW says:

Did he just admit his client had to kill him or he would have been charged with battery if he shot Martin in the leg??

  124. Cynthia, TX says:

Sorry, MOM your clients injuries don’t match his web of stories of what happened to him that night and that’s coming from just regular folks who could become jurors

  125. You all have thoughtful comments says:

And after Rachel heard gz say, “What are you doing around here for? and immediately after that she heard Trayvon say “Get off get off”

  126. Jun says:

I wish I could contact Guy

because I think it’s a good idea to cover the fact that Omara gave Trayvon a 4 minute time limit, or else Fogen could kill him

  127. KateW says:

People were saying Bernie was all over the place. Check this guy out. He is all over the place.

  128. Ty Flair says:

That block of cement beat O’mara a$$ he tired now.

  129. towerflower says:

Darn, look at all that concrete dust that I just got all over my hands and my suit. Brush, brush, brush………wait a minute……….where is all that concrete dust on Z?

  130. nocamo33 says:

UGH!!! Didn’t he say he was about to wrap up early? C’mon OM, don’t tease us like that.

  131. KittySP says:

Please, have Georgie come down and demonstrate exactly how his head was repeatedly bashed on the concrete!!!

  132. DruDo says:

I just got here and prefer to catch up by reading all your comments. I can’t take O’M, so won’t subject myself to his bs. I keep thinking if I were a juror, I’d sure be wondering about the defense switch from lots of head pounding on concrete to the point of diaper use, to now proven minor injuries, to fogen didn’t have to have injuries to fear for his life. They keep adjusting to fit their bs. I’d also be thinking fogen was perfectly capable of controlling any physical confrontation with a skinny 17 yr. old kid and since he had the gun, he would have had the upper hand all along and had no reason to fear anything. There’s many, many reasons to not believe anything fogen said. Blathering on and on, obvious attempts to confuse, too many questionable scenarios and trying to create doubt would annoy the heck out of me. Conjuring versus common sense and common sense wins.

  133. Rachael says:

Taking scripts from the outhouse I see.

  134. disappointed says:

hope Guy brings in a watermelon and smashes it on the concrete. this is fogen’s head if smashed on the sidewalk.

  135. You all have thoughtful comments says:

    Oh good.

Have gz lie down with his head on that concrete and show us how you say how gz was injured. I want to see his wounds after you finish with him.

  136. ks says:

Anybody know what the media spin on this trainwreck is? They were in a hurry to jump on BDLR yesterday when it wasn’t warranted but I find their “silence” here telling.

  137. elle says:

Wow, how jealous is MOM. He is seething anger and jealousy at the prosecution.

  138. Sophia33 says:

I wonder why the prosecution didn’t call Taaffe?

  139. gwynne says:

I swear fogen just looked at mom like, dude, i’m hungry, wrap it up!

  140. disappointed says:

    lol they stole a sidewalk.

    • elle says:

That piece of concrete is a lot thicker than a sidewalk. My bestie has an indoor pool (we built it except for pouring the concrete), and the concrete in that pool is not that thick.

  141. KateW says:

LOL The star witness!! The concrete,.

  142. whonoze says:

    @ willis

I take exception to your slander of Zep, Foghat and Skynnard upthread.

    Slowwww Riiiide!

    Mr. Saturday night special
Got a barrel that blue and cold
    Ain’t good for nothin’
But put a man 6 feet in a hole.

Hand guns are made for killin’
Ain’t no good for nothin’ else
And if you like your whiskey
    You might even shoot yourself
So why don’t we dump ’em people
To the bottom of the sea
Before some fool come around here
Wanna shoot either you or me

    And Skynnard was from Florida

  143. anita says:

Seriously, is MOM half drunk or sumpin?

  144. Boyd says:

Pisses me off the defense gets to connect martin to crimes he had nothing to do with. But the prosecution cannot use Zimmerman’s prior actions to prove his tendency to go after people. That is wrong.

  145. smokeegyrl says:

oH DAMN… he just scared da hell out of me… I thought I just heard Satan… I literally and physically jumped out of my bed and my grandson ran in here screaming…

  146. disappointed says:

He says Really 1 more time I am going to barf, really i will. i mean it really.

  147. You all have thoughtful comments says:

Yeah, and gz sure has emotions and Trayvon is dead because of gz’s emotions

  148. gwynne says:

mom seems to perceive he needs to say something more, can’t quite hit on it. he’s not wisely self aware…good thing. it was time to wrap up 30 minutes ago.
Bernie is just sitting, taking it all in.

    • tashatexas77048 says:

I’m not watching but it sounds like they are grasping at straws. I think BDLR humanized TM with one simple sentence, “Martin went to the store and BOUGHT his Skittles, he didn’t even steal them.”

  149. Sophia33 says:

MOM just showed he racially profiled Trayvon Martin. And he keeps repeating this.

    • nocamo33 says:

      Keep it coming OM.

      • Malisha says:

Astonishing! Unbefuckinlievable! O’Mara is actually using the Frank Taaffe defense except to change “mad as hell” to “non-hostile, saintly, and a complete chickenshit wimp.”

        • nocamo33 says:

Unfortunately, in desperation they have to grasp at something. From West’s ridiculous, nonsensical opening, the lack of a presentation of an actual case, to this rubbish. All they do is show they have nothing. The first attorneys Zimmerman had knew that and told that to Forgotten One’s family. That in turn caused them to get the bozzack (they were fired). OM and his minions saw an opportunity at fame and possible future fortunes.

  150. nocamo33 says:

OM is wrapping up. If the eyes are mirrors of the soul, I see reflected in the Forgotten One’s eyes, dread. I see that the jury (reflected in his eyes) are unconvinced by OM. Fogen’s breathing is becoming increasingly shallow.

  151. sparger says:

Is there a time limit on this? Is it a mistrial if a juror jumps up and tells him to shut up?

  152. ladystclaire says:

I just read on FB from AxiomAmnesia (sp) that, Trayvon’s parents and attorneys, got up and walked out of the courtroom when O’JACKASS held up a photo of Trayvon to the jury.

  153. GrannyStandingforTruth says:

Good morning, did I miss anything?

  154. smokeegyrl says:

Time running short M’OM… end it please… END IT… YOU’RE DONE..

  155. KateW says:

Hidden meaning: I am lazy and I am ill prepared. I don’t really want to do any of this work.

  156. Dee says:

You know it does matter if Zimmerman was a fighter, but we know that he is a killer. And known of this would have every happened if he did not get out of his car to follow Trayvon. These people laws is telling us that it is not against the law to follow someone.

When they tell you today if a cop is behind you. Put on your flasher to let them know you know that they are there. However, don’t stop until you get to a well light area with people around. Why would they tell you this, if following a person is so legal.

    • towerflower says:

Dee, the purpose of your scenario is because of people who impersonated cops (driving what appears to be an unmarked car with blue lights) and would pull over someone to rob/rape/kill. Because of that they tell people if it is a unmarked car, go to a well lighted area and even to call 911 to confirm that it is a cop car.

  157. disappointed says:

Nice pointing out what the prosecution did not do. you did not show us what your client did.

  158. MedicineBear says:

Oh WE can imagine you’ve been up there over three hours!!!

    Is it still Friday?

  159. You all have thoughtful comments says:

6 NEN calls were all on blacks

  160. MOM should be charged with “Assault with a deadly boring argument”

  161. Boyd says:

The guy who wanted to be a cop , took MMA lessons , has a 50lb advantage over a kid 11years younger, Zimmerman is in the physical prime of his life strength wise. it’s ridiculous

    Please STFU

  162. Sophia33 says:

What is the 6th non-emergency call.

  163. You all have thoughtful comments says:

  164. nocamo33 says:

10:37am Central Time. OM has proven only that he has no case. Wrap it up buddy. I think we can have a verdict by dinner time.

  165. whonoze says:

I notice Rich Mantei isn’t in the courtroom. I sure hope he’s in a back room somewhere, watching the trial feed, and building a PowerPoint for Guy’s rebuttal.

    • ay2z says:

You bet!! He’s busy making notes– I get the sense that he’s the equivalent of the tactician in an America’s Cup sailing race.

(The jury has to be assumed really really stupid with what is going on at this moment with the cement ‘block’.

Is that in evidence?? LOL!!! )

  166. My Forehead Tho says:

So I take it we’re not the only one’s bored to death:

  167. Yorazigo says:

Would GZ have reasonably known that hollow point bullets in the heart or chest would have caused death? Obviously why he has been wearing bulletproof vest.

He could easily have incapacitated any assailant with bullet placed elsewhere.

  168. KateW says:

This guy is a hot mess!

  169. MedicineBear says:

If you reasonably believe the car next to you is going to cut you off, you can shoot them in the heart. — The world according to O’M

  170. You all have thoughtful comments says:

The train is storming down the tracks at gz

  171. disappointed says:

oh good we get to listen to this by him too.

  172. gwynne says:

mom–Consider these words, “The danger facing George Zimmerman din’t have to be actual.”

    umm…mom…the bullet was actual.

    • chi1224 says:

What a complete bunch of bullshit. I have concern about these SYG/Self Defense laws, I really do. As far as I am concerned it is FAR to easy for someone to murder someone and then claim self defense. People like FOGEN try and use these laws. I do think Fogen will be found guilty, but it should not be this hard to convict!

      • towerflower says:

chi, At one time in Florida when someone broke into your home you had to retreat. You could only use deadly force if you had no means to retreat. The going joke for awhile was if you shoot you better make sure the body fell inside your home and not outside. It evolved to say that you didn’t have to retreat if someone broke in….Castle Doctrine. Then it evolved to that you didn’t have to retreat if you were out and about and you could defend yourself.

Yes, lots of people use the SYG as a defense, but you also have to remember that they don’t always prevail in their arguments. Recently they convicted a man in the northern central Florida area, of 2nd Degree Murder and he also tried to claim SYG in the shooting death of his unarmed neighbor–he claimed that he went for a gun by putting his hand behind his back. It won’t work in the Dunn case in Jacksonville, where he shot a teen in a van. He claimed that they aimed a gun him and no gun was ever found.

  173. smokeegyrl says:

Can we animate that tie on George’s neck… God forgive me for that one… it was just a after thought… I could’ve swear I seen eyes’ on that tie.. get behind me Satan…

  174. Sabrina B. says:

Yes, please stress reasonable and cautious person.

  175. Rachael says:

What about an unreasonably paranoid person who throws caution to the wind and follows a “real suspicious guy?”

  176. My Forehead Tho says:

    Keyword: Reasonable

  177. You all have thoughtful comments says:

gz’s perceptions were out of whack that night

  178. amsterdam1234 says:

Guy get off your ass and object.

  179. Judy A Vallejos says:

oh this is not helping the migraine I have this morning….

on and on and on about what? he has made no clear points of anything

on another note my husband asked this of me last night…

does the jury even have to leave the court room or can they just say we find him guilty when the state is finished?

I told him I think after instruction by the judge they go out to decide and then come back in

he wants to know why would they have to go out? cant they just say right there ? LOL

  180. KateW says:

Bernie says 3 things the state must prove. He says they don’t have to prove intent.
    1. Trayvon Martin is dead.
    2. His dead was caused by a criminal act of the defendant.
    3. There was an unlawful killing of Trayvon Martin by an act imminently dangerous to another and demonstrating a depraved mind without regard for human life.

I believe the state has satisfied all 3 of those requirements.

  181. degraveegmailcom says:

See the lying mf there on the right?

  182. smokeegyrl says:

    I would’ve object to that one…

  183. Rachael says:

Feel sorry for anyone? What? I mean seriously? SERIOUSLY?

  184. Stormwatch says:

I asked a well versed Ft. Lauderdale trial attorney last night what he thought O’Mara’s closing argument would be like. He opined that the entire defense strategy is the “Shit on a stick defense.” Sure enough. that’s what O’Mara comes with today. Shit on a stick.

    • abbyj says:

Stormwatch, Your attorney friend’s assessment of what MOM’s closing argument would be was a high compliment, indeed. Shit on a stick? Shit without the stick.

  185. whonoze says:

Feed caught Sr. yawning at MOM!!

  186. MedicineBear says:

    PapaZ can’t stop yawning.

  187. gwynne says:

Big ole gulp of water, must be finally getting to the end of story time.

  188. MichelleO says:

I THOUGHT it was funny when they had fat fogen stand up next to the cut out of Trayvon, and right next to him was the short court police officer. Because shorter people can’t fight or be authority figures.

    • lady2soothe says:

I noticed on the cut outs GZ’s cutout was more than considerably shorter than Trayvon’s, I highly doubt the cutouts were the correct measurements.

3 1/2″ difference in height: The EXACT length of a standard business card.

  189. You all have thoughtful comments says:

gz has no respect for the law…..he took the law into his own hands as judge, jury and executioner

  190. Sabrina B. says:

Does this mean he is finishing? Please let it be so.

  191. Dee says:

look at Zimmerman daddy he is not even paying attention, what does that show us. He doesn’t even believe this man, and no that his son is going to do some time.

  192. amsterdam1234 says:

  193. Rachael says:

    Really, MO’M? REALLY?

  194. You all have thoughtful comments says:

    Complete liar

  195. Boyd says:

    He’s a liar. yes.

Finally figured out how I could sit there as a Juror when West/MOM speak, write software algorithms, everyone would think I’m taking notes.

  196. Jurors to MOM (for the 4th and 5th time): “Don’t no, no, no us!!”

  197. Yorazigo says:

How can he be allowed to instruct the jury on reasonable doubt and other jury instructions?

  198. MedicineBear says:

    Summary of O’M closing:

Throw a bowl of spaghetti at the jury wall and see what sticks.
    Then ask repeatedly, “C’mon! Really?”
    Repeat interminably.

    • My Forehead Tho says:

Implying the jurors were dumb for believing the prosecution yesterday, won’t help his client

  199. amsterdam1234 says:

    Get up and object.

  200. KateW says:

This guy is a farce. He is using no evidence and just talking out of the side of his neck. Bernie backed up everything with evidence and forensics. What is in that water? Oh now his inconsistencies are not lies.

No criminal is ever a mastermind. That is why they get caught. Because their dumb. He thought he was a mastermind, manipulator, bs’er, he thought he could talk his way out of it.

  201. esentrick says:

Boom “intent to deceive” Yes that what your client depraved, ill will mind! Thank you for proving the state theory!

  202. My Forehead Tho says:

“If he had the intent to deceive, why would he give 6 statements?”

Because he had the intent to deceive, he gave 6 statements- Common sense

  203. You all have thoughtful comments says:

gz said he was punched and fell down BACKWARDS onto the T

    The next day

gz said he was punched and then staggered FORWARD 15 feet and only then did he fall down

  204. Did he just try to argue that if you are able to tell the same story, you are lying? This dude is funny…

  205. Endless Summer says:

Can’t stand to listen to MO’M today, and especially do not want to hear him bash Trayvon.

For Trayvon, who does not get to fly into the future, but may be flying like an eagle now:

  206. Rachael says:

Trayvon decided to stalk? WHO IS THE ONE WITH THE FLASHLIGHT fool!!! How did Trayvon KNOW GZ was going to follow. And I HATE it when he (MO’M) says “Really? REALLY?” My 21-year-old daughter in law talks that way to her 3 year old. Ughhh.

And no, I’ve been told just the opposite that when you change it each time, making it bigger each time to bolster your claim THAT is when you are lying.

  207. Soulcatcher says:

He wants the jury to believe non of Georges dna did not appear because the dna evidence was not preserved properly.

REALLY, REALLY, why then is Trayvons dna there.

  208. You all have thoughtful comments says:

Rachel told of Trayvon’s fear of the creepy pursuer
Rachel said that Trayvon was out of breath
Rachel told that Trayvon had temporarily lost gz
Rachel said that Trayvon was being followed again
Rachel said that gz approach Trayvon and Trayvon said what are you following me for.

Rachel heard Trayvon say to gz β€œget off get off”

  209. Nellie Nell says:

Cut outs! genius MOM what a fool, he is trying way to hard saying a whole bunch of nothing.

  210. My Forehead Tho says:

  211. elcymoo says:

Now he’s talking about the fact that Trayvon had no muscle tone in that autopsy picture. GZ, of course, was to wimpy to have any muscle tone at all on the night of 2/26/12.

He has the nerve to suggest that Trayvon STALKED GZ!

  212. Santrina says:

Trayvon parents just left the courtroom.

  213. Tzar says:

    oh the “really” defense
    good job buddy

  214. disappointed says:

roflmao Trayvon the kid who ran is now the stalker? get the fuck out here with that ish.

  215. MedicineBear says:

Fogen is wondering if 2-3 years can be taken off of his sentence because he has to sit through O’Mara’s closing.

  216. gwynne says:

He is so hard to listen to, especially when he acts “nice” about the victim.
I take a teeny bit of comfort in knowing that whatever mom does for the rest of his career, it won’t matter. He’s solidly married to fogen. That’s all he will ever be remembered for. Him and the doughboy.

    • Beverly says:

Because no one else would have him….imagine listening to all that whiny, condescending voice. Im exhausted from his lethargy.

  217. Judy75201 says:

O’Mara misspoke again, “was attached” referring to Trayvon.

  218. You all have thoughtful comments says:

Show the picture of Trayvon 9 days before he was killed.

This video has lots of pictures of Trayvon:

  219. KateW says:

i have to say, and I think someone already said it, Bernie really did refute a lot of what he has said today. So Bernie got the jump on him before hand.

  220. esentrick says:

IMHO JN made an irreversible error against the state by allowing Donnelly testimony. MOM used that to his advantage. He talks about a witness not listening to other witness testimony and then proceed with Donnelly “credible” testimony.

As I try and listen to this deranged lawyer, It is sooo obvious he is playing to racial stereotypes. First, he strikes two black jurors, then all the “black witness” are not to be believed? Even the mother and father? Then places Trayvon Martin on trial? Omg I cant with this guy.

  221. Rachael says:

It should have an impact you fricken AH!!! HE IS DEAD and your client KILLED HIM. So it BETTER have an impact!!!!

  222. Sophia33 says:

Sybrina walked out. Good. She is a strong woman and I don’t think I could have lasted that long.

  223. Nef05 says:

I don’t want to wait for Guy. I need a couple volunteers to hold him down while I punch him 25-30times, bash his head over a dozen times, smother him with two hands, use the other 6 arms for multiple injuries, give him an SI injury, oh…. and kick him in the bawls. All in the most legal, nonviolent way possible, of course. I would NEVER threaten an officer of the court! Simply to compare injuries, is all.

    Any takers?

  224. disappointed says:

nice kid. why not show the picture on the horse? why show the one of him without his shirt? Did your pervert client pick that photo?

  225. Sabrina B. says:

    The menacing black kid photo.

  226. degraveegmailcom says:

He has this tone like he is so tired of going trough all the details,
sigh, just believe him there is no law against shooting someone just because it is simply true and one must not forget what is the real law
says.It is not nessecary to have any reason to kill its up to you!

  227. Hate to say it…but I’m almost positive that DW would have been better than this – haha

  228. KateW says:

So he’s saying a short MMA practice fighter can’t over power a skinny 158lb kid cause he’s short?

    • Dee says:

Don’t forget they said that Trayvon was the MMA fighter. I wonder how go they think he was when he suppose to have learned all of this.

      • abbyj says:

Dee, I wonder if the defense rues the day they ever mentioned Trayvon using MMA? It’s all come back to Fogen as the one familiar with MMA.

  229. MedicineBear says:

PapaZ is bored out his mind and fogen asked the assistant “how much longer is he going to drone on?”

  230. Sabrina B. says:

    OOOOOhhhhh! More shiny stuff!

  231. disappointed says:

is that his argument about the blood? all of fogen’s blood washed off of Trayvon but not off Fogen himself?

    • You all have thoughtful comments says:

    • sparger says:

yes it did. Why are you questioning science?

    • KateW says:

Because we all know blood is selective. lol

    • abbyj says:

Good morning, all. Just waking up here with some coffee, late, on the west coast. I figured, why get out of bed to hear a raft of lies? What’s the consensus? Is MOM making any headway, or is just the usual blather of his B.S.? Anyone have a second to let me know?

      Thanks, everybody.

      • type1juve says:

It’s the same old bs boring everyone to tears.

        • abbyj says:

type1, I can’t believe what I’m hearing. Just endless droning. WTF. This fool has been yammering like this for a couple of hours??? OMG, I hate the sound of his nasal voice. The jury must be exhausted from listening to him and his bull.

  232. You all have thoughtful comments says:

    Hang down you head geezee
Hang down you head and wail
    Hang down your head geezee
Oh boy, you’re going to jail

  233. anita says:

George said” here’s a lock for your back door. This is what I do, I suck up , I brown nose , I lie.” Give me a break.

  234. My Forehead Tho says:

So MO’M is arguing that Fogen may have been frustrated, but it’s impossible for him to have ill will or spite against the teenager he called “asshole” and “fucking punk/coon” who he never met, who fit the description of the people who frustrated him?

  235. Boyd says:

there he goes again connect trayvon to crime with ms. bertalan

  236. You all have thoughtful comments says:

    Last moments of gz’s freedom

  237. MedicineBear says:

Yeah, white woman in fear of young black men at front door “IS THE FACE OF RETREAT AT TWIN LAKES”!!!

  238. Boyd says:

If Martin had X-men vision capability , he would have known that Zimmerman jumped out of the car and had a Gun, So then YES he would have not only run but knocked on every door he could.

    • tashatexas77048 says:

Been saying this for a year. Apparently TM had xray vision and possibly the smelling senses of a hound dog since he could find his way back to the exact location of Zimmerman without a flashlight and without seeing him exit his vehicle. This is the defense of a damned liar with no defense.

  239. You all have thoughtful comments says:

    CHOIRBOY vs monster

  240. smokeegyrl says:

  241. willisnewton says:

Only one more hour of this to go.

  242. disappointed says:

she said the guy was turning door knob to her son’s room, stupid.

  243. elle says:

The media is not looking at O’Mara when he is just talking. They were looking at BDLR.

  244. Sophia33 says:

MOM “accidentally” left a twitter page on the projection screen.

  245. anita says:

Is this really as bad as it seems? This rambling on& on , II can’t believe it. I love it, but, is it truly this awful?

  246. MedicineBear says:

    Watch out ladies, HE’S SWAYING!

  247. You all have thoughtful comments says:

MOM wants the jury to believe gz’s LIES

  248. willisnewton says:

The image of Joeseph Cotton listening to KANE’S second wife sing opera floats in my brain. As he makes paper dolls from the program and stares at the ceiling.

  249. You all have thoughtful comments says:

Our precious Trayvon is dead because of gz’s false ASSUMPTIONS

  250. My Forehead Tho says:

For sake of argument let’s assume Trayvon was beating Fogen, wouldn’t he back off when he noticed Fogen had a gun aiming at his chest?

That possibility isn’t impossible in neither theory; In fact, it’s the most possible. Hope the jurors caught that.

  251. KateW says:

Root was a train wreck! Like JN said it sounded like he was giving an infomercial. The jury probably thought the same.

  252. bellesouth says:

One bit of evidence that Trayvon was trying to get away? He ran away.

  257. Yorazigo says:

Seems to me, logically if you we’re bleeding down your throat & choking, not able to breathe you wouldn’t be thinking about grabbing your gun. Natural reaction would be to spit, cough, turn, try to struggle up to clear it!

It isn’t the injuries or lack of injuries that is a problem. It is GZ lack of credibility regarding the injuries.

      • You all have thoughtful comments says:

That’s why BDLR should have hammered home that TM was murdered because Porky wanted to kill him. Instead he foolishly said Zimmerman was not intending to kill Martin when describing the difference between M1 and M2. I’m still upset about that statement, their whole case is based upon the intent of the Defendant.

Run home in 4 minutes? From the clubhouse? With the scarey man in a working vehicle, newer model with lights working and not out of gas?

Suspicions were raised at the moment Trayvon ‘He ran!/door opening out of car’ moment. So what if Trayon had started running at the corner of TTL/clubhouse? Would GZ have got out at that moment and run too? Or would he follow in his car even faster than he could run.

  307. KateW says:

See this is the difference between him and Bernie. Bernie showed you with evidence, forensics, testimony….this guy, Skeletor, is simply making up stuff and scenarios and conjecture and speculation. Trayvon was hanging out at the mailboxes? OK SHERLOCK, what is your proof of this? Or as least where you got that from? This guy is digging his client a fresh grave.

  308. My Forehead Tho says:

So he’s reminded the jurors that Rachel is still credible?

    Tf is MO’M doing?

    • Rachael says:

I think he is trying to show the jury that he is a nice guy, therefore you have to believe GZ killed in self-defense because MO’M is so nice and reasonable

    • ay2z says:

He wants jurors to conject a reason to discredit her testimony, because she made up everything almost, to tell the mother what she wanted to hear.

Right– and 5 hrs on the stand under West couldn’t make that happen? Did they even ask her?

  309. But MOM, everyone is involved now because of Fogen killing Trayvon.

  325. breelee says:

    “Rene Stutzman @renestutzman

Gawd I hate this winch. Show me the law where it says Trayvon had to go indoors. He thought he’d lost the creepy guy, period. And he had every right to stand outside and talk all night if he wanted, without being murdered!

    • You all have thoughtful comments says:

  334. You all have thoughtful comments says:

Yes, gz was frustrated that he had never shined in his life which was full of gz failures

    These assholes…..they always get away…..fucking c punks

  335. willisnewton says:

anything to tie these two events? yeah a 17 yer old black kid living near the back entrance.

  337. Boyd says:

yeah MOM just come out and say it. Trayvon was breaking into all the homes there the last 2 years.

amazing they get to associate the victim to previous crimes not committed by the victim, why is the Judge allowing that?

  338. This is surreal…MOM is creating red herring arguments during closing…

  347. Boyd says:

He cannot explain how those screams magically turned into “like it was nothing” in less than 1 minute.

  348. You all have thoughtful comments says:

Trayvon was only walking home from the store.

  349. You all have thoughtful comments says:

Police said that gz had two times when he could have defused the situation by simply identifying himself to Trayvon.

Trayvon died while never understanding why he was being targeted by a stranger

  350. ay2z says:

He’s trying to ‘illegitimize’ (if that’s even a word?) the concept of circumstances in evidence, because circumstances must be taken each alone and out of context with all the other circumstances?

  351. Dave says:

The court reporter has a “WTF?” expression on her face. Totally unlike her reaction to Bernie’s closer.

  352. ada4750 says:

I am somewhat mad at BDLR right now. He should have asked Rachel more details about this timeline. I was surprised that West did not ask questions about it. I guess now he didn’t want to clarify so they can use it in the closing.

  353. KateW says:

The NEN op also said those words he directed towards Trayvon can be construed as hostile.

  354. Sabrina B. says:

Someone call me when this show is over.

  355. Woow! says:

BDLR blew all of the defense arguments out the water yesterday so MOM is BS the jury today. CAC should sue MOM for inadequate representation.

    • KateW says:

Yes he did. And I will be referring back to Bernie often because he made it that easy for me to remember what he wanted me or the jury to remember. He is probably a good teacher too.

    • Malisha says:

He will file a habeas based on sixth amendment rights. Prolly in about 2016.

  356. KateW says:

What? Dont ever do this to us again? So really what he is saying is so what this kid is dead. My client says he shot him in self defense and you people need to take the liars word. End of story? Really?

    • pork que says:

Kate, Did the Killer’s lawyer just say that the Jury should tell the Killer “Don’t ever do this again?”

  357. You all have thoughtful comments says:

MOM is sending gz to jail

  358. MichelleO says:

It’s like fogen was a saint, moving through the night, when a pesky fly got in the way.

  359. willisnewton says:

I wish John GUy would show the bloody back o the hear photo and ask the jurors why this guy is holding a cell phone to his ear.

I cannot believe the prosecution misses things in plain sight that prove GZ’s account is inconsistent with physical evidence like photos and video. A picture is worth a thousand words.

GZ has never said whom he called and why.

  360. You all have thoughtful comments says:

Cry ended with gunshot = Trayvon’s cry

    Comparing Trayvon to a car

  363. MichelleO says:

This is like a love letter to fogen, where Trayvon is not even in the equation.

  365. Jose Padilla says:

A 17-year-old who could run a four-minute-mile would be the top middle distance high schooler in the country. Only five high schoolers ever have run a mile in less than four minutes.

    I knew it! He’s correcting Bernie on the ‘tell her I killed{

  367. You all have thoughtful comments says:

Trayvon is dead because of gz’s false ASSUMPTIONS while he pursued Trayvon

    • pork que says:

And the Killer’s lawyer want the Jury to make false assumptions as to why/how Trayvon didn’t make it home.

  368. Boyd says:

huh? for 4 minutes we don’t know what trayvon was doing. all we know is he was on the phone and talking.

yeah, That’s what most people do, when they talk.. do one thing! Concentrate on the conversation. Not plan a sneak attack while talking to others. lol!

  369. willisnewton says:

MOM – please, hang the jury for me!

  370. Dee says:

You know when someone is lying when you don’t want to hear anymore because it is making you sick to the stomach. I have the volume turned off. I just don’t want to miss Guy come back on him and eat his a** up.

Zimmerman just found out yesterday that the lesser charges still hold the same weight 20 to 30 years. I say that because West was shocked when the Judge said it holds the same weight in prison time. He said no it doesn’t and the Judge said yes it does, that the Florida law. This is why you see Zimmerman staring into space a lot. He’s thinking dam I thought I was going to walk free. I guess he is realizing that he is going to have to do time over what he has down. Because I doubt seriously that these women will let him walk free without charging him something and that only
    something is manslaughter.

I think they will give him the lesser charge not realizing that charge holds the same weight after the gun charges are added on. Murder 2 is 25 to life. Manslaughter is 30 yrs. Not knowing this they may come back with the charge of manslaughter. And Zimmerman will be looking at 30 years behind bars. This won’t bring Trayvon back, but at least he will be punished him for what he has done. And so others that they cannot just go around killing kids that
they think is up to something no good, that’s ridicules and this law has to change.

This 17-year-old kid who was minding his own business, which holds up to 30 years with the gun charges added on. Florida let you carry but when you get in trouble with that gun then that is when you pay the price for their strike guns sentencing laws.

    • MDH says:

He needs some time in prison to discuss the Zimmerman’s views on Balacks and Mexicans with his fellow inmates.

  371. Rachael says:

This is totally ineffectual. He is going to put away his own client!

  372. Jurors to MOM (for the 3rd time): Don’t no, no, no us!!

  373. My Forehead Tho says:

“I don’t know who put the nose back in shape”

Reminds the jurors Fogen’s nose wasn’t broken

    Bad strategy

  374. MedicineBear says:

    Eeeyewww! There’s a MRS. Ratface.

I need a mental palate cleanser — Mr. GUYYYYYYYYYYY!

  375. Ty Flair says:

I hope Guy say in his closing if fogen did not have that gun would he had gotten out his truck I bet all the jurors would think no.

  376. bunny620 says:

Holy crap, throw all of Fogen’s lies out the window?! Yea that’s going to happen…

  377. You all have thoughtful comments says:

  378. KateW says:

Perhaps he is taking a page out of Mr. Root’s infomercial.

  379. RobertSF says:

Wow, O’Mara is saying he would have had Zimmerman lawyer up from the start? I mean, that’s good advice, but it comes across wrong, almost as an admission of guilt.

    • gwynne says:

Ummmm, mom, you were happily sitting by fogun during the Hannity interview. Whether your star client hired you early or late, you didn’t exactly help him. Glad you guys decided to do the Hannity show, though. πŸ™‚

  380. gwynne says:

Lordy do I find mom offensive. I really detest his view that black teens oughta be running on home…
I hope he clears his theory with his star client. According to fogen, you have to walk or run the “right” speed.

  381. willisnewton says:

lets take all his cop wannabe self serving statements and throw them out.

    or not.

  382. Tzar says:

“The guy who did not go home when he had the chance to”
    1. Why should my kid have to run home in the vicinity of a NW person?
    2. Trayvon should have had all the time in the world to go home, So tell me O’Mara why did he have to take this chance if it were not for your client’s aggressive behavior?

    Keep talking O’Mara

    • nocamo33 says:

BDLR also implied that when Fogen walk from West to East past the T, he proceeded South parallel to the T to head Trayvon off! That thoroughly accounts for the 2:01 missing minutes after Zimmerman got off of the phone with NEN.

  383. deetruth says:

MOM just said “maybe George was looking for Trayvon with his baby flashlight during that 4 minutes”. Yeah, you think?

  384. My Forehead Tho says:

Did he just remind the jurors that “Trayvon was JUST 17 years old”?

    Bad strategy

excellent point. Trayvon was probably hiding, watching GZ look for him. I hope prosecution addresses this.

  400. Sophia33 says:

In that 4 minutes he was trying to get away from Fogen. He was hiding. But the point is, why did Trayvon need to say “Why are you following me”? Trayvon was under no obligation go home. But Zimmerman continued to follow him and why? ANd why did he lie about it.

Trayvon didn’t have to go home. Slavery is over motherfucker!

      • Eric says:

Rachael, this case is not what Florida is. I’m black, was raised for the most part in Florida, and I still live here. As a matter of fact, I live about an hour and half, two hours from Orlando/Sanford. florida is a great place. It is now scarier than any other state. It’s perfectly okay to vist. But, if George walks, then the message that sends might make things change. As of now it’s great.

If this wasn’t central Florida or some other equally racists locale I’d say FatAss is going down for M2. And I know everyone on here hates the negative nannies, but I think the best we may get is manslaughter… a strong possibility the central Florida jury gets it all wrong and this cowardly murderer walks

    • Tee says:

Manslaughter is 35 yrs in flirida for a minor. I’ll take it

    • elle says:

I hear you, Mojo. My husband was trying to move me to Florida. Hell no. I know there are good people in Florida, but this SYG law is terrifying. And now he understands the laws down there better, and he stopped bugging me about it. He actually had property picked out and everything. No way!!!!

    • type1juve says:

  411. pork que says:

Why didn’t the Killer tell Trayvon he “didn’t want any trouble” AFTER Trayvon allegedly punched him?

Seriously … if I were on the Jury I would really want to know that answer.

    • KateW says:

As Bernie says why did he not fight back. Why would the defendant, with MMA training just lay there and take those blows. And Bernie said jokingly when showing the powerpoint where it says the defendant says he took 25+ blows and 25+ slams to the head. Bernie says “HOW IS HE ALIVE!” LOL

I keep saying Bernie says because it was so good. I have to refer back to him.

      • Tzar says:

        he really was

        • KateW says:

Yes, and see that. I can remember a lot of what Bernie says because he made it easy for me to remember with those key points. If I can remember some of those points I am sure they are with the jury as well.

      • willisnewton says:

According to GZ’s statements to SPD he did NOTHING with his hands save reach for a “cell phone” at his hip, and pull out his gun and kill an unarmed teen he’d profiled and pursued. Like the ANIMATION SHOWS, i suppose he laid there with his hands on his tummy like a koala bear.

  412. Sabrina B. says:

Except that we know what Trayvon was doing. He was losing the cac that was following him. As evidenced by the fact that when he got back on the phone with Rachel. he said, “I lost him.”

    • willisnewton says:

he lost him by running OFF the roadway where he was being pursued by a moving car. IMO he stopped pretty much where he was killed. And talked on the phone with his friend about his experience, possibly walking south towards home or possibly staying there where he had the most options to elude his pursuer, and not lead him to where Chad was.

but many things are possible, and what GZ claims happened is NOT possible and a self serving tale filled with clear contradictions that are LIES in both version.

      • nocamo33 says:

Yes. He likely got between the homes to continue his conversation with Rachael. He likely was somewhat “disoriented” not really knowing what to do – nervous, scared, out of breath. Hoping his (what he perceived was a) “mini” ordeal was over. Zimmerman went across the North side of the T (West to East) across to the street that runs parallel to the dog walk on the East side, cutting of Trayvon’s path. Zimmerman created and forced this situation. That is what he has been trying to conceal when he lied. People say he had no premeditation and that he called the cops and that = innocence. Zimmerman tried to detain. The scuffle ensued. Upon Trayvon attempting to break free, that is when Zimmerman lost his temper and either had the weapon out or took it out at that point (likely when he was “reaching for his cell phone”). All of those events taken together make it clear what Fogen did, his level of culpability and the true nature of his actions before, during and after the unlawful taking of Trayvon’s life.

  413. You all have thoughtful comments says:

gz is experiencing his last moments of freedom

  414. KittySP says:

Please, if Trayvon was a vicious thug and wanted attack George cause he knew he’d called the cops (GZs reasoning), he wouldn’t need to hide out 4 mins to plan a surprise sucker punch. That’s real retarded…hell, if was the a$$hole burglars that always get away he could been out the back gate as GZ assumed, in those 4 mins.

    • tashatexas77048 says:

And nk one has mentioned two obvious facts in regards to this 1. How the heck would TM have known Porky got out of his car and 2.How is he hiding in the bushes AND TALKING ON THE PHONE? Like duh seriously, the fact that he answered when Rachel called back and stayed on the phone b with her is proof he had no interest in lying in wait for anyone. It’s kinda hard to be incognito when you’re having a phone conversation.

  415. willisnewton says:

    again to fix typo:

brilliant, I really hope the state nails that down

      • Lonnie Starr says:

The jurors have the times and the maps, but they haven’t got the distances. It will be difficult for them to see much of what we saw, but the more gross point should come through. Like the idea that Trayvon could have circled his car in the times given, and still allow the even flow of the NeN call. gz would have him circling the car at about the time he says “he ran”.

Otherwise it shouldn’t be taking this long for them to realize that the defense has been lying to them.

  418. KateW says:

Bernie said yesterday said the defendant says they started at the T and ended up 40ft. Sarcastically he says “Wow, someone must be the Flash” or something to that effect. The defendant’s story story from the time he gets out of his truck is not plausible. We have Trayvon’s phone records. Heck, we have the defendant’s phone records. As Bernie stated IRREFUTABLE EVIDENCE establishing a timeline. Not some imaginary timeline Skeletor is trying to conjure up.

  419. You all have thoughtful comments says:

MOM has the burden of doo-doo to present

  420. whonoze says:

MOM’s ‘argument’ so far has more holes than all the cheese in Switzerland. This is a flat fat softball pitch over the middle of the plate for Guy. If Guy has a bat, he can hit it out of the park. Of course, I fear he’ll come into the box with naught but a toothpick.

So MOM actually ran off the 4 minutes in real-time? (I was in the bathroom…) And how in that time did GZ NOT get back to his truck? WTF!

  421. Dee says:

This is how much time that Zimmerman had to leave this guy alone. He could have been at the store shopping for his groceries. However, instead he decided to play cop and hunt this kid down then shot and killed him. Zimmerman had his gun out when he went after Trayvon.

It is something, that both were doing the same exact thing that dark and rainy evening, going to the store. One leaving and one coming back, one made it and one didn’t. The one that did make it out alive is the one that didn’t even get a chance to get to the store, Because he decided to hunt this kid and kill him. Like I have said before they say he not a fighter, but he is differently a KILLER.

“IF: Trayvon punched the Killer, THEN: Why didn’t the Killer, right then and there, tell Trayvon who he was and why he was searching for him?”

    • Malisha says:

See, he had four minutes to run away from his pursuer!
Admits Fogen was chasing him, but blames him for not getting away!
If in those four minutes, Fogen had no more indication that there was a problem, time for him to return to his damn schruck and wait for the real police to take care of whatever bothered him; if the guy vanished, the problem was solved.

  427. pork que says:

Why didn’t Trayvon make it home?

Why didn’t the Killer stay in his car?

Why didn’t the Killer tell Trayvon who he (the Killer) was?

Why did the Killer continue to search for Trayvon even tho Trayvon was RUNNING AWAY from the Killer?

Why did the Killer tell so many lies?

    IF: Trayvon punched the Killer,
THEN: why didn’t the Killer say:
“Hey dude, I live in this neighborhood and I am not trying to hurt you – You don’t need to punch me.”

  428. Boyd says:

Terrible. He thinks the Jurors are stupid. I would be insulted.

Just believe us that after the kid was happy he lost him , he came back to punch him. it’s so logical.

    • Dave says:

      20 or 30 feet according to O’Mara.

      • LeaNder says:

Dave, I noticed that too, not only the shorter distance but also, wasn’t the body not quite as close to the “dogwalk” as they made it appear in the video? That somehow puzzled me, didn’t Shoemaker claim he used the official police total station data (not absolutely sure about the software used here). Hmm, they can only have relied on John’s drawings which were hardly precise. When did he draw it?

But something else, didn’t he also dramatically diminish the time that Fogen wasn’t accounted for either? He better did not make such a mistake since these ladies should are able to do simple arithmetics I hear the ladies took copious notes.

I had the impression from far that they added to the time-line, at least it seemed different from the one I found online yesterday and now have in front of me.

Another big mistake for more sensible ears and eyes. His pompous remark about “the supercop” Serino, who thought he could get away with his tricks he used towards Fogen, followed by a pronounced: Really!! I forget the term he used to describe the interview.

Some of the ladies apparently were quite interested in these interviews, and thus obviously paid quite a bit attention to Serino. And thus they must have been quite aware to what extend his statements were completely manipulative and self-serving. Serino denied that this were really challenging interviews as he presents them, again I forget the term.

Finally pure gold from the defense: Guy elegantly pricked O’Mara’s hot air baloon. He showed the emperor had no clothes.

I already wrote this on yesterday’s thread. In hindsight Bernie was not so bad. O’Mara was much weaker than I expected him to be. His attempts at manipulation were transparently self-serving. Prosecution in this case is the side that is solidly based on a much bigger human narrative versus O’Mara’s empty “Fogen the upright citizen” shell.

But lets see, I think the “riots in Sanford” lady is on the jury too. Prosecution couldn’t get her out. ….

          • ada4750 says:

True Dave. But again, that would be one of the first thing the prosecution would say. Another explication would be that Chad locked the door and unlocked it later without mentioning it.

    • ada4750 says:

This a very natural question that jury will ask themselves. What Trayvon was doing? BDLR had Rachel on hands. Why he did not clarify that?

      • Malisha says:

They don’t need to prove what Trayvon was doing; they KNOW what Trayvon was doing: Talking on the phone! Why he chose to talk while he was still outside? His business. What was FOGEN doing during that time period when he had already found his address and had already been told not to follow Trayvon?

        • LeaNder says:

I am somewhat amused, O’Mara spent a lot on stage props, but it didn’t help him a little. I think it ultimately showed the soulless hot air he represents to a much larger extend than he ever envisioned.

Look at the first comments over at Jeralyn’s resort. Already the second comment marks the point of no return: Really!? He seemed to realize immediately that this was a big mistake.

I changed my mind, Bernie was not so bad after all, and Guy was pure gold.

  430. elcymoo says:

So MOM only wanted to illustrate how long Trayvon had to make it home? Trayvon stopped running after he thought he’d lost the CAC; Rachel made that pretty clear, I thought.

  432. RobertSF says:

  433. KateW says:

  437. RobertSF says:

All that time is the time Zimmerman had to walk South on Retreat View Circle and come up on the footpath towards Trayvon, who was outside Brandy Green’s condo, chatting with Rachel. He chased Trayvon from there towards the T.

Rachel’s testimony supports that Trayvon was outside Brandy Green’s condo, and Bahadoor’s testimony supports that there was running sounds towards the T.
